Help
Help!, I need somebody,
Help!, not just anybody,
Help!, you know I need someone, Help!.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
now I find I've changed my mind I've opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down,
and I do appreciate you being 'round.
Help me get my feet back on the ground,
won't you please, please help me?

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
my independence seems to vanish in the haze.
[John forgets the lines]
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
and I do appreciate you being 'round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
won't you please, please help me?

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
[John forgets the lines] changed my mind I've opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
and I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
won't you please, please help me,
help me,
help me, oh.
